I’ve had a reef lobster for a few years now and quite honestly have only seen him in his entirety when I’ve moved him from tank to tank.
He does molt though and I find his shell every now and then (that’s what’s in the pictures and NOT his dead body). He lives in a shallow cave under the rockwork and will sometimes take a prawn from my grabber so I can see him for a moment.
